  3.                            EASY BASE AND SHAREWARE

  5.         This is the "Shareware" or evaluation version of Easy Base -
  6.         the latest and most flexible data management system for the IBM
  7.         PC.
  8.  
  9.         The Shareware version is provided so that you can fully test
  10.         and evaluate the program before deciding to purchase it. The
  11.         Shareware version is fully working. It is not limited in any
  12.         way and no features of the registered version have been
  13.         omitted.  The only functional difference between this and the
  14.         registered version is that the notice "Unregistered copy for
  15.         Evaluation Only" is displayed at the foot of all Menu and Data
  16.         Entry screens and that the registered version price is
  17.         displayed on exiting the program. Neither of these features
  18.         prevent you from trying out all aspects of the system "on
  19.         approval".

  21.         There is of course no printed documentation with the Shareware
  22.         Version but full copies of the text are supplied in ASCII
  23.         form.

  25.         The documentation is in two parts - A Users manual and a
  26.         Programmers Reference. You can view and print the documentation
  27.         from within Easy Base. If you wish to import it into a word
  28.         processor the manual is in the file "MANUAL.REP" and the
  29.         reference is in the file "REFER.REP"

  34.         Easy Base is produced by a member of the Association of
  35.         Shareware Professionals (ASP). The ASP wants to make sure that
  36.         the shareware principle works for you. If you are unable to
  37.         resolve a shareware related problem with an ASP member by
  38.         contacting the member directly, the ASP may be able to help.
  39.         The ASP Ombudsman can help you resolve a dispute or problem
  40.         with an ASP member, but does not provide technical support for
